re-organisation of the form and design of a cafe.
“la copa” is a cafeteria that couples fast food & drink with a relaxing coffee time. the design concept offers la copa – the cup, which unites the architectural form as a half cup or halfround bar composed of two areas.
mirrors on the wall behind the bar show up clearly in the form and meaning of the half round bar as a “cup”.
also mirrors on the roof give additional explanation to the meaning of the symbol of the cafe.
upon looking into it the guest sees the dark brown floor which creates a mental image of coffee and the white round bar symbolizing the surface of the cup.
